RG Portugal

According to some research we have done, glass floats marked as 'Extra RG Portugal', '(number) RG (number)', could be manufactured at 'Pereira Roldao & Filhos, Lda., Guilherma' - a portugese glass factory located at Marinha Grande. This company produced mostly bottles and changed into flat glass manufactory.

The RG glass fishing floats are being marked on side of glass, are two-piece molded, sized as 5-8" in diameter. The colors to be mentioned are clear and moderate green.

A '4 RG 12,5' marked moderate green glass float. Sized as 5 inches in diameter. Resides in a private collection in the US.

 'Extra RG Portugal' marked glass float. This one is 8" in diameter ('EXTRA' could denote a bigger fishing float). Moderate green color. The picture was kindly provided by Todd, a collector  from the US.
