Gijon Fabril

Fabrica de Gijon Fabril - a glass factory located in El Puerto de Gijon, Spain was operating since the year 1900 and manufactured bottles and fishing glass floats. According to the research on the Internet, the trademark of the two letters 'G' and 'F' that are connected by a downward arching underline which curves underneath them, creating the appearance that the letters are seated in a small boat, belongs to the production of Fabrica de Gijon Fabril.
This maker's mark is located on the sealing button or on the top of the glass, the floats are blown  in a three-piece mold. The Gijon Fabril floats we came across are of the dark green, clear and light blue colors and are mostly of about 5 inches in diameter.
