According to the information provided in the 'Glass Fishing floats of the world' book by Stu Farnsworth & Alan D. Rammer glass floats marked as 'Fortex' were made in Scotland in the period 1910-1920 but this information has no actual proof. The location of the marking is on side of the glass and on the sealing button.
