F.G.C
According to some research in the Internet we found out that 'F.G.C' marking stands for Forster's Glass Company Ltd. (St. Helens, Lancashire) which operated in the period 1894-1982. Those glass floats marked as F.G.C that we came across are of the green color, sized as 5" in diameter. There are some variations of the location of the 'F.G.C' marking: on top of glass, on side of glass and on the seal button. Some of these floats have a number that is located on bottom of glass and the writing 'Made in England' and 'Pat Pending' on side of glass performed both in a straight line and circular manners.
